This Generative AI collage series of images was developed as a contemplation on our fragmented, digital selves. How we routinely experience digital bodies as broken, chopped up, torn apart, and monstrously reconfigured. This work uses collage as a route to carefully put back together anew and to think about how we deal with the distorted visions of our own remaking. Reconstituting, piecing together the disassembled parts, without instruction of their original configuration. Through this artistic process, it explores paths of reintegration; how to reconnect the fragmented tissues of our digital personas and slow the consumption that feeds our incessant engagement with technology. Reintegration, a path through the ick and monstrous beauty; to reconnect the tissue, slow the tract.
